Our cakes

All our cakes are freshly baked to order and hand-made. As general guidance, cupcakes should be eaten as soon as you can (who can resist them!), preferably within 3 days (if kept in an airtight container or certain cupcakes can go in the fridge). They should be eaten at room temperature but should not be left out of the fridge/container for more than a couple of hours. Sponge cakes decorated in fondant icing should be eaten within 5 days but fruitcake is edible up to 6 months from delivery date.

Deposits

Cupcakes
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order for 20% of the order price. The remainder is due no less than 14 days before the delivery date (30 days for large orders or weddings). Any cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Sponge Cakes
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order for 20% of the order price. The remainder is due no less than 14 days before the delivery date (30 days for large orders or weddings). Any cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Fruit, Wedding and Special Design Cakes
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order for 20% of the order price. The remainder is due no less than 30 days before the delivery date. Any cancellations must be submitted in writing. If requesting a traditional fruit cake, this is made up to 6 months in advance and must be paid for at the time the cakes are made – please ask for further details.

Your written quote will state your exact cancellations policy.

We do not offer any exchange or return on any of our produce.

Allergies

Whilst we only bake gluten free cakes and can also cater for nut and dairy allergies etc, we cannot safely, 100% guarantee that traces won’t be present in the ingredients or in Mrs B’s kitchen, however hard we try.

Set up and delivery

Set up and delivery is included in the price within a 5 mile radius of Mrs B’s kitchen, a charge of 45p per mile is applicable thereafter.

Mrs B’s Cakes reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders containing any error, inaccuracy or omission, whether or not the order has been submitted, confirmed and/or paid for. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason at any time.
